Treka Bus is pleased to confirm the successful delivery of the first CitySprint low-floor minibus to Stephensons of Essex, with a further ten vehicles now on order as part of the operator’s fleet expansion program. The new CitySprint vehicles will support Stephensons’ upcoming tendered services, with the operator citing the product’s accessibility, British manufacturing, engineering quality and aftercare support as key factors in the decision.

Bill Hiron of Stephensons commented:

“The new CitySprint is an ideal solution for our new tenders, and it’s complemented by the fact that Treka shares the same high standards we do here at Stephensons. They’ve been a great fit for us from day one. A major advantage for us is that the vehicles are built in Britain, which has delivered shorter lead times, dependable UK parts availability, and responsive aftercare support when we need it. The seven-year warranty is another real reassurance and demonstrates the confidence Treka has in the durability and reliability of its vehicles. What really stood out throughout the process was the way the team took the time to understand our operational requirements and tailor the bus accordingly, rather than simply offering a standard solution. They worked closely with us to deliver a vehicle specification that matched our needs. We would have no hesitation in recommending Treka to other operators looking for a high-quality British-built vehicle backed by strong customer support and aftercare.”

Developed with extensive input from community transport providers, demand responsive transport operators and local authorities, the Treka CitySprint has been engineered to deliver a flexible, fully accessible transport solution for modern passenger operations. Designed and manufactured in West Yorkshire, the British-built low-floor minibus offers operators shorter lead times, dependable UK parts support and responsive aftercare. Every vehicle is backed by Treka’s industry-leading seven-year conversion warranty for additional peace of mind. The CitySprint can accommodate up to 22 passengers, with one wheelchair bay, and is available with a variety of seating layouts to suit different operational requirements. Whether deployed on rural services, community transport routes or DRT networks, each vehicle is tailored to the operator’s needs rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach.

Available from stock from £115,000 OTR, the CitySprint is supplied with full UK aftercare and parts support.
