Treka Bus is pleased to announce the delivery of a new Renault-based Treka Everyday accessible vehicle to Happy Wanderers Ambulance Organisation, supporting the charity’s continued commitment to providing safe, reliable and inclusive community transport services across the Harrogate district.

Supplied as a 10-seat vehicle with accommodation for two wheelchair users, the new Everyday conversion has been carefully specified to support the organisation’s day to day operations, helping older and disabled passengers travel comfortably and safely.

Finished in Energy Red, the vehicle features a side slide entrance door with step to provide easier and safer passenger access. The vehicle also includes dual front passenger seating to maximise capacity, an inboard tail lift for smooth wheelchair access and a dual air system to maintain a comfortable environment throughout the year.

Established in 1958, Happy Wanderers Ambulance Organisation has spent more than six decades supporting people with limited access to transport, helping passengers stay connected with family, friends and the wider community. The volunteer led charity provides free transport services for older and disabled people, supporting everything from community outings and shopping trips to social visits and group activities.

As a first-time Treka customer, the organisation selected the Renault Everyday following previous positive experience with Renault vehicles, alongside the appeal of the latest Renault platform and the support provided throughout the process by the Treka team. The compact and accessible layout of the Everyday also made it particularly well suited to the organisation’s passenger requirements and community-focused operation.

The new vehicle now joins the organisation’s other mini-bus and will support a wide range of community-focused journeys, continuing Happy Wanderers’ mission.
