The long-awaited CitySprint from Treka Bus, has been out and about on the streets of York ahead of the first planned customer deliveries.

The new Treka low-entry minibus received an influx of enquiries when news first broke in September last year. Now the renders are a reality, and the 22-passenger CitySprint 7 has completed its final road tests with customer deliveries set to commence soon.

Chris Wood, Head of Operations, commented, “We’re thrilled with the bus’s performance in a real-world setting. The CS7 zipped around the busy city centre and side roads with ease. We’re looking forward to delivering the first units and welcoming prospective buyers to the factory in Brighouse to see it for themselves.”

This vehicle is built to a customer’s specification, but the new demonstrator vehicle will be quite different, demonstrating the flexible nature of this little bus and the range of operations it can serve.
