Treka are delighted to announce a brand-new partnership with Blackpool Council, who’ve just taken delivery of their first Mobility+ minibuses.

Although Blackpool Council already have a large fleet of accessible vehicles, this is the first time they’ve added Treka models to their line.

The three new Mobility+ vehicles are already out on the roads, supporting College Transport for Adults and Children’s Services. Two of the buses are being used for adult college transport, whilst the third is helping younger users get to where they need to be safely and comfortably.

Designed with flexibility and accessibility in mind, each Treka Mobility+ can carry up to 16 seated passengers or 6 wheelchair users. The Single Glider Door makes getting on and off simple for everyone, while the underfloor tail lift offers additional support when needed.

This delivery marks the beginning of what promises to be a strong partnership between Treka and Blackpool Council. Following driver and user feedback, there may be an opportunity to further expand Blackpool’s Treka fleet in the future, a prospect we are excited to support.
