We’re delighted to celebrate the delivery of a brand-new Treka Mobility vehicle to Ilkley Community Transport, a valued customer who’s been putting their trust in us for over a decade.

When your previous Treka vehicle serves the community faithfully for 12 years, choosing your next one is no small decision. That’s why we’re particularly proud that Ilkley Community Transport returned to Treka for their latest addition, a steel blue Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Mobility that will continue their vital work across the community.

Operating a compact but dedicated fleet of three vehicles, Ilkley Community Transport knew exactly what they needed: reliability, accessibility, and a partner who understands the unique demands of community transport.

Their new Mobility vehicle has been thoughtfully specified to serve diverse passenger needs. The flexible design can accommodate up to 6 wheelchair users or maximise space for up to 16 seated passengers, making it perfect for the varied journeys Ilkley Community Transport undertakes daily.

Accessibility was a key priority in the decision. The vehicle features a fold-out step arrangement for easier entry, complemented by an underfloor tailift to ensure smooth boarding for wheelchair users.

The practical considerations haven’t been overlooked either. An water climate system ensures year-round comfort, while a two-sided storage pen provides ample space for equipment and belongings. The automatic transmission makes life easier for drivers navigating the area’s varied routes.
